8 Passenger Vehicles
We are going to go out on a limb today and ditch the talk about 7 passenger vehicles and move onto something much more exciting: 8 Passenger Vehicles!
The truth of the matter is, that although it may not seem like a big deal to have a car that seats one more person; the move from 7 to 8 passenger vehicle is actually a significant one.
You see even most minivans only seat seven people these days. The reason? The captain chairs in the second row. The captain chairs behind the drivers row has become very popular these days (mostly because it makes it much easier to move to and from the 3rd row.
So, for this convenience many people are willing to give up an extra seat or move from having 8 total seats to 7. But what happens when your family becomes to large for the 7 seater van? You have to upgrade.
Believe it or not; there are still alot of families that run into this problem. They have child number six and suddenly they wont all fit inside the “small” seven passenger van.
Fortunately, there still are some vehicles that remain an “8 passenger vehicle”. These cars will have the full second row. So no captains chair. With a full bench seat, the people climbing into the back seat will be required to fold back on the seats nearest to the door.
This really isnt a problem for most kids as they actually may enjoy just climbing over the seat anyway. Some of the vehicles that still have the full bench in the second row (and then a full bench in the 3rd row) are as follows:
Minivans
Suburbans
Full sized vans
Tahoes
Escalades
Yukon
and many other vehicles.
So, if your family has outgrown your vehicle or for whatever reason you need a 8 person vehicle; dont fret! They still exist and are still relatively easy to find.
If you are able to do some research on some of the more popular auto sales sites or visit them in person, you are sure to find a larger vehicle that will both be pleasing to the eye and capable of fitting the right amount of passengers that you need.
